Vincenzo Alessandria

Vincenzo Alessandria (Catanzaro, 1995) is a designer and curator working in the field of contemporary visual arts, with an academic background in graphic design, visual design and art curation. After completing a three-year degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where he developed a multidisciplinary approach that integrates visual communication, curatorial research and editorial projects.

Her artistic and curatorial practice explores the transformations of human activity, analysing processes of change across time and space and the relationship between language, form and context.

He has collaborated with leading Italian cultural institutions, including Palazzo Collicola, the Fondazione Progetti Beverly Pepper, the Fondazione Perugia and the Edizione Nazionale Cesare Brandi, overseeing graphic design, publishing and visual communication projects for prominent contemporary artists such as Maurizio Cannavacciuolo, Mark di Suvero, Mark Francis, Giorgio Griffa, Nancy Genn, Ugo La Pietra, Claudio Massini, Vittorio Messina, Matteo Montani and Fabrizio Plessi.

In 2019, he co-founded Quadro Zero, a curatorial and design platform dedicated to promoting emerging artists and creating new platforms for contemporary artistic practices. Through exhibition curation, graphic design and visual communication, Vincenzo Alessandria fosters a coherent dialogue between artworks, visual storytelling and the exhibition space.

Her work also encompasses photographic documentation, the production of materials for calls for applications and artist residencies, and the development of visual strategies to promote artists within the contemporary Italian and international art scene. In recent years, she has curated and collaborated with numerous artists, exploring new approaches to artistic research and experimentation focused on contemporary art and curatorial innovation.
