Giulia Maria Belli​

Giulia Maria Belli is a multidisciplinary artist born in Udine in 1989. She studied Painting at Atelier F of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, earning her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Arts and Performing Arts Disciplines in 2014. In 2018, she completed a Master of Art at the LUISS Creative Business Center in Rome.

Currently based in Venice, she works at the zolforosso shared studio. She collaborates with Galleria Eugenia Delfini in Rome, the artist collective Fondazione Malutta and artist Riccardo Giacomini. With the latter, she creates illustrated books such as Fiabe di malati alienati e bizzarrie (Fairy Tales of Alienated Patients and Bizarreness) (2015), Storie Pallide (Pale Stories) Gaspari editore, 2021 – an artist residency project at Dolomiti Contemporanee in Borca di Cadore, and Le favole Rosa (The Pink Fables)presented during the Unknown Waters event at the Floating Cinema in Venice.Recent exhibitions include Hôtel Dieu at the A plus A gallery in Venice (2024), Sotto cristalli troppo morbidi (Under crystals that are too soft) at Terzospazio Zolforosso in Venice, (2023), Venise Paris at the Galerie Italienne in Paris (2022). 

Exhibitions in 2025 include the group shows New Art frontiersFrontiers at Altro Mondo Gallery in Manila, Philippines;  On and beyond – A Love Letter To Shadows, at Alberta Pane Gallery in Venice; Venice Time Casea touring project curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, held at the State Archives in Naples. Telefono senza fili at the Kunstraum Ortloff Gallery in Leipzig, Germany, and the exhibition 'Dittico #2'at the Galleria Sagittaria in Pordenone.
